Ashley’s Project

This is my project, a Saab 900 GLS 4-door saloon. It was made in 1981, a W reg and is 25 years’ old. I am 10 years old. It is one of the first 900’s and I am the third owner. Ashley is the King and that’s why it’s called the King’s Car.

When I was two, Dad took me to Horstead Garage and we were planning to take a breaker back to Hagstrom Saab but I started to talk with a Saab 900 that was white. In the end the plan changed and we took the white 900 with us. Once it was at Hagstrom Saab, we started to repair it. The Saab got stripped and when it was just a shell, it was driven outside and put under a tarpaulin.

Over the last 7 years I have transformed it into a supercar. If you look on my journal "Saab God" you will see the progress my Saab has made.

These are photos of him this summer. He's almost ready for his MOT. I'll tell what's going on.
